The project was implemented under the <strong>National Recovery Plan<\/strong> (KPO) and the <strong>Ministry of the Interior and Administration<\/strong> (MSWiA) program \u201cCrisis Resilience\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Silesian Voivodeship, as a region with a high population density and extensive industrial infrastructure, requires reliable and immediate warning tools in situations involving natural and technological hazards. The objective of the project was a comprehensive <strong>modernization<\/strong> of the alarm system, including the replacement of analog solutions with modern <strong>digital alarm sirens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key challenges included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ensuring high system reliability under all operating conditions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintaining uninterrupted operation during power outages,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integration with the existing State Fire Service (PSP) infrastructure,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>execution of a large number of installations within a short and strictly defined schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitex.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/www1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1431\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scope of the project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scope of the project included the <strong>delivery<\/strong>, <strong>installation<\/strong>, <strong>commissioning<\/strong> and <strong>technical acceptance<\/strong> of a total of <strong>283<\/strong> digital alarm sirens, compliant with the current technical requirements of the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service (KG PSP) and KPO standards.<br>The project was delivered using a partner-based model, with Digitex assuming full responsibility for coordination, system integration and the final technical outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the project, the following activities were carried out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>delivery of 283 Digitex digital alarm sirens,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coordination of four tender packages,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supervision of installation and system commissioning,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integration with PSP control and command systems,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>functional testing and final acceptance procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Installation works at individual locations were performed by certified Digitex installation partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sinad S.C.,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tetratronik,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AltomProf.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digitex played the leading technological and organizational role, ensuring solution consistency, system configuration and the overall quality of the deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"475\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitex.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/www2-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.digitex.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/www2-1-1.png 940w, https:\/\/www.digitex.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/www2-1-1-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/www.digitex.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/www2-1-1-768x388.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digitex technology applied in the KPO standard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All installed Digitex sirens comply with the technical requirements of KPO and the Terms of Reference (OPZ), including, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>system acoustic power of 600 W, ensuring high SPL levels and wide-area coverage,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>full &#8211; capacity 230 V AC power supply with surge protection,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>redundant backup power supply: 2 \u00d7 75 Ah AGM batteries,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DUPS-40 redundant power module,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>local and remote control (DSP-50, GSM),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>external GSM antenna 2 dBi (2.5 m cable),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>equipped with a DML control panel with a display, allowing full configuration and access to all alarm siren functionalities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>enclosures and mechanical components compliant with KPO standards (steel housing, doors, anti-corrosion protection),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>full compliance of alarm signals with KG PSP and MSWiA guidelines,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>48-month warranty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system was designed for continuous, year-round operation, maintaining resistance to adverse weather conditions and ensuring long infrastructure lifespan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation results in the Silesian Voivodeship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The implementation of the project in the Silesian Voivodeship delivered measurable benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a significant increase in the effectiveness of public warning and alerting,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reduced response time of emergency services,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensured system continuity even during prolonged power outages,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>full compliance with KPO requirements and current safety standards,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unification of alarm infrastructure at the regional level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Digitex system enables both local and remote control, automatic testing and continuous monitoring of operational status, directly enhancing the safety of the region\u2019s residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project in the Silesian Voivodeship is an example of a successful and comprehensive deployment of modern alarm systems, in which Digitex acted as the technology manufacturer, main contractor and system integrator.<br>The implemented infrastructure provides a<strong> solid foundation<\/strong> for the further development of regional and nationwide warning systems, while the experience gained serves as a reference point for future deployments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 2025, Digitex, acting as the main contractor, completed one of the key modernization projects of the Public Warning and Alerting System (SOiA) in the Silesian Voivodeship.
