Platan Ltd was established in March 2002 as a result of merger of two Polish telephone exchange producers: Digitex of Sopot and Micronet of Gdańsk, who have been operating in the telecommunications industry since 1985. Platan Sp. z o.o. has become a leading Polish producer of telecommunication systems.
